I mean, did you choose big law or did you choose that six figure salary? Eeeehh?  But yes, you did, and kudos for landing that gig, but the idea of a thing and the thing itself are two very different things. But whatever, remember why you do it...to pay off those student loans!  Who needs ten years in public services when four at your white-shoe firm will do the trick.  Just don't expect the rest of us to feel bad for you, because at the end of the day, the willing suffer no injury.
